Epics of Asia primary stakeholders are families with primary school children from Liverpool diaspora, which then the event will provide educational and entertaining interactive activities, games, and traditional Asian music and dance performances for an immersive experience as accordingly to the theme.
Epics of Asia features stalls, competitions, and performances to showcase various Asian talents, customs, and heritage. Attendees can participate in traditional dance performances, art exhibitions, masks, opera, and drama, enriching the experience and fostering appreciation for rich heritage which is divided from adults (mask-making workshops, traditional music performances, opera demonstrations and food tastings) and for children (face painting stations, interactive storytelling sessions, and mini traditional costumes dress up parade) (Brandon, 1967).
Epics of Asia will take place in September, which is the ideal month for organizing a council meeting. During the month, neither Liverpool nor Macquarie Street Mall have any major events planned. Additionally, the weather in September is typically pleasant, making it more likely for people to attend outdoor events. This would provide an opportunity for Epics of Asia to utilise outdoor spaces in both Liverpool and Macquarie Street Malls, further enhancing the overall experience for attendees (Liverpool City Council, 2023).
Epics of Asia will take place over three days, offering workshops and educational activities to immerse attendees in diverse traditions and art forms. The festival aims to foster appreciation for cultural heritages and conclude with a traditional Chinese Opera performance. (Liverpool City Council, 2023).
