LIGHTING/SOUND/FX

Macquarie Mall features tall rows of string lights that change colour as needed, which boosts the aesthetic of the area greatly for events. The lights will be of red and yellow colours as to imitate Chinese lanterns (Lark Paul, 1960). The lights will change periodically from one to another, as well as different hues of orange. The use of string lights in Macquarie Mall not only enhances the visual appeal of the area but also creates a festive atmosphere, perfect for events. (Woo et al., 2009). Incorporating these string lights into the run sheet for events held in Macquarie Mall will add an extra touch of ambiance and create a memorable experience for attendees (Stephen, 2016). Additionally, the use of lighting in the run sheet can be strategically planned to highlight specific areas or activities, ensuring that all aspects of the event are visually captivating.

For the stage, specific lighting, such as led spotlights and coloured lights, will be used to create a dynamic and engaging performance space. These lights will then be programmed to change colours and patterns, adding excitement and visual interest to the event through a light engineer who will control the lighting cues. This will enhance the overall atmosphere and create a visually stunning experience for the audience (Cadena, 2010).

SOUND
APPARATUS

Epics of Asia will use professional sound engineers to ensure the best possible sound quality and design. Additionally, the sound engineers will work closely with the event organisers to understand their vision and goals, ensuring that the sound design enhances the overall atmosphere of the event. Multiple speakers will be strategically placed throughout the venue to ensure that sound reaches every corner and that all attendees have an immersive experience. To ensure crystal-clear sound reproduction, MCs will use cutting-edge audio equipment and technology. High-quality microphones, amplifiers, and speakers will be used to deliver powerful and balanced audio throughout the venue. Furthermore, the sound engineers will conduct thorough sound checks prior to the event to fine-tune the audio settings and make any necessary adjustments such as microphone battery checks to ensure that everyone in attendance has an unforgettable auditory experience (Eva et al., 2011).

Microphones

Speakers

project sound to the audience, ensuring clear and audible audio throughout the event space.

Mixing Boards

Video/SFX

Guests and photographers will use cameras throughout the event, as well as officials to allow for capturing memorable moments and ensuring that the event is well documented and shared through social media (Brooke, 2018). Additionally, any special effects or visual elements will be carefully planned and executed by opera performers as well as vendors to enhance the overall visual experience for the attendees, but not by the event itself.
